TBDP S3:E5 The Most Interesting Man in the Operating Room

This week we’re chatting with Dr. Carl Truesdale, an Otolaryngologist, Head and Neck Surgeon (ENT) currently completing his fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery. Dr. Truesdale is truly an enigma. I thoroughly enjoyed discussing his pathway through medicine and the set-up for his current fellowship. He talks about his multiple hobbies, including knitting, aviation, art and music. Dr. Truesdale also talks about his efforts to increase diversity in the field of OHNS.

This is the perfect episode for anyone interested in specializing in ENT surgery. The field offers an incredibly diverse practice potential with many different sub-specialties. Dr. Truesdale lays out a plan for achieving this incredibly competitive specialty.

TBDP is a volunteer passion project with the goal of inspiring all who listen. In-house music and audio production, so any ideas for improvements or suggestions for future guests are welcome.
