TBDP S3:E2 Diversity in Radiology: It Isn’t All Black and White

In this episode of The Black Doctors Podcast, I chat with Dr. Jasmine Branchcomb, a Radiologist practicing in California. Dr. Branchcomb is my classmate from Howard University College of Medicine, and an alumnus of Xavier University. We catch up on life and she talks about her current practice as a Radiologist.

Dr. Branchcomb talks about her time at Xavier, where she managed to excel (despite the challenge of Hurricane Katrina). She speaks about what drew her to study at HBCUs and the incredible impact they had on her life and career.

Have you considered attending a historically black college or university? The programs have a lot to offer for undergraduate as well as graduate programs. The mentorship, diversity, community and representation found at HBCUs will pay lifelong dividends. Definitely listen to this episode and share with a friend who may not know what these schools have to offer.

TBDP is a volunteer passion project with the goal of inspiring all who listen. In-house music and audio production, so any ideas for improvements or suggestions for future guests are welcome.
