Saving Lives with Eddy Joe MD and GoodRx
This week I sit down with Dr. Eddy Gutierrez (better known as Eddy Joe, MD). He joins to share his inspiring story of what led him to pursue a career in medicine. He beat the odds to become a physician and then went on to specialize in Critical Care Medicine. This episode is sponsored by GoodRx so we will be talking about the impact this company has had on patient care and medication adherence.
Eddy was an early adopter of GoodRx and used the program frequently during residency to help his patients better afford their medications. He shares how clinicians can easily incorporate this into their practice.
We also chat about the incredible resources Eddy has created on Instagram, his blog, and the Saving Lives Podcast. It is quite impressive how he has managed to improve clinical care for thousands of patients and improve medical knowledge and practice for thousands of physicians and healthcare providers.
Listen to this week’s episode to find out how you can incorporate GoodRx into your practice and benefit your patients. They provide an incredible resource through their GoodRx cards, an easy way to pass savings along. You can sign up for a free savings kit of GoodRx cards HERE .
