Medical Malpractice in Military Medicine | ES3

Breaking news with the passing of new legislation affecting military medicine. For years, service members have been unable to sue for medical malpractice due to the Feres Doctrine. This court case set the precedent that federal employees cannot sue the federal government. There are many cases of egregious medical malpractice with damages that have occurred in the military healthcare system. With the Richard Stayskal bill, there is now a pathway for patients and family members to receive damages.
