Dr. Terri Malcolmjoins us on the show to discuss her life and her journey into medicine. Dr. Malcolm talks about navigating pre-med courses and medical school and shares advice on how you can enjoy the journey. She takes us through finding her first job out of residency and how she climbed the ladder of leadership until she ended up in the C-suite. Dr. Malcolm shares what life is like on the other side. Different concerns and how junior attendings can begin to get involved.
Dr. Malcolm found her true purpose after earning an MBA and completing a leadership program. A physician-coach changed her life and she now seeks to share what she has learned to other physicians. She founded Master Physician Leaders, which is a program for developing physician-leaders. Her program has a lot to offer physicians who are looking for a different style of practice, or to extract maximum value from their current practice.
