RestoreMD Medical & Wellness with Dr. Kimberly Rogers

Welcome: RestoreMD Medical & Wellness

In this episode, Dr. Bradley catches up with Dr. Kimberly Rogers, an old friend. They finish up the conversation they started in last week’s episode. She shares her pathway to medicine, which began on the island of Anguilla and brought her to the DMV, Philadelphia and now, Delaware. Dr. Rogers shares her holistic approach to healing and how she was able to maintain that passion and perspective throughout her training in allopathic medicine.

Dr. Rogers talks about different care models and why she started RestoreMD Medical & Wellness (Now seeing patients in Delaware and virtually!!

Direct primary care is a type of healthcare model that provides patients with more personalized and affordable medical services without the involvement of insurance companies. The benefits of direct primary care include more comprehensive care, longer appointment times, increased access to providers, and lower costs for patients. Patients in direct primary care are able to have more frequent and longer appointments with their primary care physician, which allows for a stronger doctor-patient relationship and better management of chronic conditions. Additionally, direct primary care patients have increased access to their doctor through email, phone, and other communication channels, which allows for more prompt medical attention. Finally, by eliminating the need for insurance, direct primary care can often save patients money on medical expenses while providing higher quality care.
