11: My Experiences as a Physician in the Navy

Some of the most common questions I receive are from students interested in practicing medicine in the military. In this episode of the show I share my experiences on active duty in the United States Navy Medical Corp. I share the reasons I joined and some of the opportunities I have been able to experience. My time on active duty has taken me from Virginia to Texas to South and Central America, Cuba and the Caribbean.

Are you or someone you know interested in military medicine? Are you curious about some of the unique opportunities the practice model provides? Are you wondering how much a military physician is paid? This episode is for you! Please listen to and share this episode.
